It was as if something was in the air. As if somewhere, someone had flipped a switch, so that everything would change. Whatever the actual trigger was, I do not know. Nobody was sure when, and no one seemed to remember how far back it had been. Lately, I believe no one even cared anymore. But I still noticed, I still cared. Something had changed and I do believe we would never go back.
I tried not to pay attention, I did not want to get in the middle of things. The left believed in their rights to meddle in people’s lives, to take their money and throw it to whomever they felt deserved it. The right believed in governing by religion, and that everyone should fall into their beliefs. The anarchist stuck with their typical beliefs of just let me, be me. Now all this sounds like the complaints and issues of years and years passed. This was different, these were not simply arguments, or disagreements or even simple political bickering’s. These beliefs, these ideas had created something more, a larger divide. These divides were war, I don’t mean a simple description placed on political stand offs. These differences of opinions had spun into war. A truly global war.
Starlifter is quite possibly the best piece of music ever written. Worth paying $10 for it alone, and while none of the other tracks match it, they're not far behind - cenotaph and grand hunt in particular. _shadowstorm_
